Alexandros

Hi, I’m Alexandros – Pianist, Teacher & Piano Accompanist

I am a Greek classical pianist who settled in Utrecht in 2017. I arrived in the Netherlands to finish my Master’s degree in Classical Piano Performance at the HKU Utrecht Conservatorium and I have been teaching and performing music since then.

I started learning piano at the age of six in Thessaloniki (Greece), where later obtained my Piano Diploma from the “State Conservatory of Thessaloniki”. I continued my studies at the “University of Macedonia” and also spent time studying in Spain at the “Conservatorio Superior de Música in Granada”. I have performed in Europe for many years and worked with orchestras and wonderful musicians but I find the most satisfaction in teaching music to others.

I have been teaching since 2011 and have taught students of all ages from young children who are taking their first musical steps to adults who are rediscovering (or finally starting) their passion for piano.

In our lessons, we’ll always start with your goals and interests. I will tailor each lesson to your level and preferences whether you are a complete beginner or more advanced, from classical to more modern repertoire. We will combine practical piano playing with music theory so you will not only improve your technique but also understand what you are playing and how to express yourself through it.

And don’t worry – you won’t be stuck playing boring exercises for weeks. From the very first lesson, you’ll be making music! We will start with fun, accessible pieces, and as we go, we will explore your favorite repertoire together.

I am here to help you reach your musical goals whether you want to play classical music, movie music or simply enjoy music in a relaxed setting – one note at a time.
